Full description Day 1: Tunis, El Jem, Matmata, Sabria Leave Tunis at 6:00 am and head for El Jem, home of one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres, and explore the great arena and its history. Continue to Matmata to visit the troglodyte houses, traditional underground homes dug into the rock, and have a traditional lunch at Sidi Idriss, a Star Wars filming location. In the afternoon explore the market of Douz before reaching Sabria for a desert camp experience. Watch the sunset over the dunes, with optional camel rides and the preparation of traditional sand bread, then have dinner around a campfire and spend the night in the desert camp. Day 2: Oases, sand dunes and Star Wars sites Have breakfast at the camp, then travel towards Tozeur across the Chott el Djerid salt plain, stopping for photos. Visit the Chebika oasis and the Tamerza waterfalls, and have lunch in the mountain oasis of Tamerza. Then ride a 4x4 along the Dakar rally tracks to the Star Wars filming sites of Ong Jemal and Mos Espa. Check in at your hotel in Tozeur (Hotel Ksar Rouge) for a good dinner. Day 1: Tunis, El Jem, Matmata, Sabria
